Capital subsidy for all solar projects for residential & GHS/RWA customers
GNCTD will provide a subsidy for all solar projects as given below:
(1) Residential Consumers

No additional subsidy
* Solar installations will also be undertaken under Discom trusteeship model through bidding.
State Subsidy shall be equal to (the cost arrived at through bidding under the Discom Trusteeship Model minus the PM Surya Ghar subsidy) or ₹26,000 × Plant Capacity (in kW), whichever is lower, subject to a maximum limit of ₹78,000.
(2) Group Housing Societies / Residential Welfare Associations (GHS/RWA)

** Capped to differential of total plant cost/kW and PM Surya Ghar subsidy/kW, whichever is lower, as discovered through bidding by IPGCL or any other Govt agency authorized by Deptt. of Power.
